Hiiii. ^__^
Do you guys want faster releases from us? Then apply for a job at Operation Boredom! We're currently looking for translators, editors, QCers and proofreaders.
Here's a quick summary for how each job works <3 At the bottom of the post, I have a section for how to apply for each job.
***
Translators **BADLY NEEDED**
You don't have to be fluent in either Japanese, Chinese, or Korean, but at least know the languages well enough to be able to translate either language into English.
Editors
Editors basically clean the scans, fix the sound effects, and typeset. You must have some experience in the area of Photoshop [or a program similar to it] to be able to apply for this job. You will also be sent a test to see just how good you can work. See your weaknesses & positive points, and see what you need improvement in. :3
Editors basically do the whole thing - cleaning, typesetting, etc etc. However, if you only want to do one of those things - like clean, typeset, then that's fine too. So if you don't want the whole editing job, but just a minor part, contact me and we can work it out. :3 <3 Thanks![/ul]
QCers
QC stands for Quality Checkers. They basically check the final draft of the scans and whatnot, and see if there is stuff that should be edited and whatnot before it's released to the public. They can either just edit the mistakes on their own, or send a list of the mistakes to the editors so THEY can fix it themselves. ^_^
Proofreaders
Like translators, they must speak Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. They check the translations the translator made, and check for typos, and other mistakes and stuff like that before it gets sent to the editors / typesetters. Y'KNOW? Actually, you don't HAVE to speak either of those languages. ;3 That's only necessary for those translators that are too busy to translate a full chapter [similar to QC - editors who don't want to edit a full chapter].

Applying
Post here what you would like to apply for, and a way for me to contact you easily [e-mail, MSN, etc etc]. You can also e-mail me at lightlink22(at)gmail(dot)com [edit that format - I just put it like that to stop unwanted spam]. But please post here all the same. <3
Thank you!
